CFAO Mobility’s rebranding has officially reached the Zimbabwean market, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter in the automotive sector. Under its refreshed identity, the company now operates as a single entity through two distinct units — the Toyota Business Unit and the Multi-Brand Business Unit.
Through these divisions, CFAO Mobility Zimbabwe is offering four world-renowned brands — Toyota, Hino, Suzuki, and Volkswagen. Their vision goes beyond selling vehicles and parts; it is to position CFAO Mobility as the leading automotive company that delivers complete mobility solutions to meet the needs of Zimbabwean customers.
In their media brief on the 20th of August 2025, Carl Vaga, Managing Director of CFAO Zimbabwe, said it is a new project to unify its various units, brands, and operations to form new mobility companies in each country. Each brand retains its own unique identity, but all will be sold and serviced with the distinctive CFAO touch.
Customers have been assured of the highest level of service under the new CFAO Mobility, where each brand maintains its own unique identity while drawing on the combined strength of the group. All the brands will now carry the “by CFAO” logo — Toyota by CFAO, Suzuki by CFAO, and VW by CFAO — reinforcing that, regardless of the brand chosen, every customer remains a valued CFAO customer. The company emphasized that clients are still at the heart of their business.
“Our commitment goes beyond sales, we are currently having services centers in Harare and Bulawayo and will plan to open additional dealerships to expand our nationwide reach,” says Lawrence Mawoni the general manager for CFAO Multi Brand.
