Delta Beverages has expanded its lager portfolio with the launch of Zambezi MIST, a new premium lager positioned around a smoother, lighter and more effortless drinking experience.
Officially launched in Harare on 28 August 2026, Zambezi MIST builds on the heritage of the established Zambezi Lager brand while introducing a more contemporary proposition designed for modern consumers and evolving social occasions.
The new lager is brewed from 100% malt and has an alcohol content of 4% ABV, with Delta positioning the product around a smooth, balanced and refreshing taste profile. Its brand proposition, “All Beer. All Easy.”, reflects the emphasis on premium quality combined with an easier drinking experience.

Zambezi MIST Makes Its Harare Debut
The launch brought the Zambezi MIST identity to life through an experience built around music, entertainment and the distinctive visual character of the new brand.
From the atmospheric setting to live entertainment, the event provided guests with an introduction to the latest addition to the Zambezi family while creating a social experience aligned with the brand's positioning.
Zambezi MIST has been developed for contemporary social occasions ranging from braais and weekend gatherings to music festivals, sunset events and casual catch-ups. The product is available in cans and non-returnable bottles.
The launch also attracted media coverage, helping introduce the new brand to audiences beyond those attending the event.
Multimedia Supports Zambezi MIST Launch
Multimedia was proud to support the Zambezi MIST journey leading up to its official launch.
On launch day, our team managed media engagement and coordination, helping facilitate coverage of the event and the introduction of the new product.
As part of the broader communications execution, Multimedia also secured advertising placements across different media platforms, supporting awareness and visibility around the Zambezi MIST launch.
The resulting coverage helped communicate not only the introduction of the new lager but also the lifestyle, entertainment and brand experience surrounding its arrival on the Zimbabwean market.
This approach demonstrates the value of combining public relations, media relations, event communications and advertising placement as part of an integrated product-launch strategy.

Taking Zambezi MIST Nationwide
The Harare launch marks the beginning of a wider campaign for Zambezi MIST.
Delta Beverages plans to roll out a nationwide sampling and activation programme across Zimbabwe, using micro-events, experiential activations and other consumer engagements to introduce the product to more consumers.
The strategy will allow the brand to extend the momentum generated by the launch while building awareness and encouraging consumers to experience Zambezi MIST in different social settings.
Expanding the Delta Beverages Portfolio
The introduction of Zambezi MIST adds another offering to the Delta Beverages portfolio while reinforcing the company's presence in Zimbabwe's beverage market.
Delta Beverages is Zimbabwe's leading brewer and forms part of Delta Corporation, whose operations span lager and traditional beer, soft drinks and other beverage categories. The wider group also has interests in African Distillers, United National Breweries in South Africa, and Natbrew Plc in Zambia.
For Zambezi MIST, however, the message remains deliberately simple:
All Beer. All Easy.
